Camel Ride
While many tourists in Wadi Rum looking for a "camel ride" will be happy riding around for an hour or so, many are interested in the true desert experience of a longer journey. Even on a short trip of a day or so, being able to guide your own camel, with a Bedouin guide riding alongside, is infinitely more rewarding. If you want to experience moving through the desert as it has been done for millennia, and the unique relationship with the animal that typifies this arid land, the "ship of the desert" is the most authentic mode of travel.
