The beautiful Wadi Rum provides an ideal environment for trekking. Millennia of erosion processes have formed spectacular mountains rising out of the Wadi Rum's desert sands. Trekking is one of the most rewarding ways of discovering the valleys, canyons, and vast sand dunes, while learning about the Bedouin who inhabit these arid lands. Trekking offers a real treat for all of your senses as well as giving you a well-deserved break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Trekking can be done on a trip of a few hours, a full day trip while sleeping in Caravans Camp, or an overnight mobile camping trip--sleeping out in the desert, complete with a cooking crew and porters. Whichever duration you desire, the guides will carefully plan the timing of hike, when to take breaks, when to eat, etc., based on your pace and trekking style.
